sunday stealing: alphabetty 2

Alphabetty 2

A) What does the last text you sent say? And to whom?
the last text i sent was to a colleague. it said “are you guys inside already?” a former colleague (and one of my best buddies) is in town and asked us all to lunch and while i usually turn down these invitations, i really miss her–she was a great buddy, and she’s like the only person i would come out of my cave to spend time with outside of work, even if it meant spending time with current colleagues whom i don’t really care for (in fact, just the night before, my current colleagues all went out together, and i didn’t go). so, anyway, i got to the restaurant and was waiting outside at the agreed-upon time and didn’t see anyone there so i was asking if they were all inside already.

B) What does the last text you received say? And from whom?
the last one i received was from amazon.com saying that my package had been delivered.

C) What time do you wake up most mornings?
i wake up at 5am–that’s when the alarm is set. on days i can sleep in, i usually sleep until the sun comes up because my room faces east, so those sun rays come straight into my window, waking me up.

D) Are you afraid of walking alone at night?
it depends where i am. most times, no.

E) What do you do to relax at the end of a stressful day?
i play music, really loud. i usually play mindless games. lately, i’ve been doing rubber band bracelets. i have a whole mound of them, so you can see how many stressful days i’ve had. 🙂

F) Where did your last kiss take place and with whom?
my niece kissed me good-bye last night.

G) Do/did you get into trouble a lot at school?
no. i was that perfect little goody-goody that no one liked.

H) Do you enjoy your job? If unemployed, are you content being so?
i enjoy aspects of it. there are parts i wish i didn’t have to deal with. they would make my job that much less stressful.

I) Do you often pick up on double entendres and innuendos?
no. i’m very literal.

J) Have you ever been offered drugs but declined?
i’ve taken all the drugs my doctors have prescribed for me, even if they had horrible side effects.

K) Have you ever met someone who has completely altered your way of thinking?
hmm. i guess maybe, professionally. it’s how you learn.

L) Have you ever been offered drugs and accepted?
i’ve taken all the drugs my doctors have prescribed for me, even if they had horrible side effects.

M) Tell us something weird that turns you on.
office supplies.

N) When did someone last admit romantic or sexual feelings for you? Was the feeling mutual?
ha.

O) What is something you have given a lot of thought to lately?
life.

P) When did you last swallow your beliefs to avoid an argument or confrontation?
oh gosh, i do this ALL the time. i’m such an avoider.

Q) Do you usually initiate hugs?
no.

R) Are you a very affectionate person?
i wouldn’t say “very.” but i don’t mind affection directed to me. 😛

S) Can you roll your own cigarettes?
no.

T) What are you looking forward to?
break!!!

U) Do you have any tattoos. Do you want any/more?
no.

V) Are you mentally strong?
i don’t think so. not as strong as i’d like to be.

W) Are you physically strong?
no.

X) Do you think you’re a good person?
i don’t know. compared to some people…yes, but i’m not where i think i should be.

Y) Name one thing you wish you could change about your life right now.
me.

Z) What do you usually eat for breakfast?
i usually don’t eat breakfast.

Responses

  1. Office supplies, eh??

    • heeeeee 😛

  2. Another one who is turned on by office supplies! That’s my favorite store now!

    • aren’t they great?? heehee!

  3. Just because a doctor prescribes a drug, it doesn’t mean you have to take it. I have left prescriptions unfilled after I’ve read up on the drug and checked out side effects. Sometimes they aren’t worth the risk.

    • yes, i’m beginning to learn that after taking a couple that were real doozers–one made me have really bad heart palpitations, and one made me feel like i was going crazy–really bad panic attacks. both were side effects of those two drugs, and i didn’t like them but took them anyway in hope that i would get better. didn’t work, and i got off both of them after telling my doctor about them. i guess i still trust their judgments but i’m starting to feel a little suspicious now every time i get a new medicine.

  4. I can relate to the office supplies answer!

    • heehee! must be a teacher thing 🙂

  5. That is sweet that you have a niece like that.

    • yes, she can be sweet. 🙂

  6. I think you are probably pretty high up there on the good person list. 🙂

    About the sinus massage….

Use your first two fingers (index and middle) of each hand and begin at the inside edge of the eyebrow by your nose, press rather firmly and run your fingers from there out along the eyebrow line to the other end. Do this a few times.

You can also do this under the eye. Use the first two fingers again and start at the side of your nose and sweep under the eye and up toward the temple.

Another thing you can do if your ears get that plugged up feeling is take the same two fingers and press that depression behind the earlobe and run down along your neck.

I was warned you might experience post nasal drainage…and I did. Also, it apparently doesn’t work for everyone.

    Good luck!

    • thanks! i will try that!! thanks for taking the time out to explain it to me!! 🙂

  7. Binder clips. I have a weakness for binder clips. They are my favorite office supply.

    • oh, yes, they’re great! i’m using them more and more as i get annoyed at the marks paper clips leave. i think my one weakness is post-its, though. i have too many! and in all different colors! and shapes! wee!
