1. Have you ever pretended to read a book to impress someone?
hmm. i don’t think i have.

2. Have you ever pretended not to read a book in order to avoid embarrassment?
i don’t think so? not to my recollection.

3. What’s your worst reading habit?
i never concentrate as hard as i should so i end up going back and reading stuff over and over and over again.

4. What book are you most proud of having read?
i really don’t know. maybe a professional book.

5. Do you buy most of your books new, second-hand, electronically or borrow via the library?
i usually borrow from the library. stuff for me, i tend to buy new.

6. Have you ever pretended to watch a film to impress someone?
i don’t think i have?

7. Have you ever pretended not to have watched a film in order to avoid embarrassment?
probably! i’ll pretend i was just flipping through the channels, and didn’t know what to watch, so just left it at this channel, i don’t really know what it is about, i’m not really paying attention to it, so you can change it if you want to… (and i’m always disappointed when they do).

8. What movie have you watched the most?
we used to watch grease every.single.day. not even lying. sometimes we watched it more than once a day. so i’d have to say that one.

9. What film do you tell people is your favorite ever?
i usually just say, “i don’t know.”

10. What film is actually your favorite ever?
haha! i guess grease? i don’t know.

11. What time do you usually wake up and get up in the mornings?
on workdays, at 5:15. non-workdays, whenever. unless i have to take the boy to the bus stop then it’s the same time as a workday.

12. Do you wake naturally or does something/someone wake you up?
my body used to be really good at waking naturally–i used to always wake up minutes before my alarm actually went off, no matter what time i set the alarm for. i’m not as good now–the alarm usually wakes me up.

13. How many snooze alarms do you need?
i hit the snooze once if i have to take my son to the bus stop, 3 times if i don’t.

14. What’s your routine on a workday/work at home morning?
i am awakened by the alarm. i hit snooze. when the alarm goes off again, i turn it off and shuffle to the bathroom. take care of everything there, then go to wake up my son. then i go back to my room and figure out what i’m going to wear. i usually get a nice text around this time so i take a few minutes to just sit and text for a while. then i get everything i need, walk down the hallway, which is the cue for my son to hurry up and get ready. i check that the animals are all okay before heading out to the car. i drop son off at the bus stop before heading in to my job. once in a while i’ll make a detour to the 7-11 to get a bottled water. but otherwise, it’s straight to work. i hang out in my car for a good 20 minutes, before they open up my building and i can go in, just sitting and decompressing and doing phone games or texting again. then once it’s time to go in, it’s just work mode from then on.

15. What’s your routine on a non-workday morning?
i sleep in as long as i can. 🙂 after finishing up the bathroom stuffs, the next thing i usually do is take my clothes to the washing machine, and start a batch of clothes. then i make the rounds to the animals, before slinking back into bed and having some internet time. 🙂 then it’s putting the wash into the dryer, doing a few other things around the house, before going on with our day.
