friday 5 for march 1: lights

Where’s a good place to check out some pretty lights?
down the street i live on there’s a few houses that go all out during the holidays. it’s very pretty and i would drive by slowly with my son when he was younger, just to look at them all. but the past few years it hasn’t been as festive. either they have moved, or their kids are older/grown, so they don’t have to put things up any more. as it is with most things, i find.

How well do you sleep with the lights on?
i can if i’m really tired, but most times i’m bothered by it. yet i am fine with taking a nap during the day when the sunlight is on, so i don’t know the difference. 😀

What’s your favorite song with the word “light” or “lights” in the title?
why are all the songs that popped into my head from the ’60s? heehee
okay i checked my iTunes and the only song i have there with light is “light of day” so i’ll choose that one, although i don’t know that it’s my favorite.

What “light” version of some food or drink is as good as (or better than) its regular version?
i can’t think of any. i don’t like the chemical taste of lighter foods or drinks.

Which light in your house seems to need changing the most frequently, and which the least?
the bedroom light, usually. the hallway would be a close second. i don’t think i’ve ever had to change the bathroom light yet, in all the years i’ve lived here. neither the kitchen light, although that burned out a few years ago–i just don’t know where to buy replacements. 😀 the bathroom light still works, though.
