FRIDAY 5 FOR MARCH 25: MARCH MADNESS!
When did you last have occasion to march anywhere?
What kind of hula-hooper are you?
i was pretty good when i was little. i don’t know about now.
What kind of madness is most likely to infect you this weekend?
Under what circumstances this past week might you have had reason to shout, “SCORE!”
i found everything i needed at walmart?
When did you last inadvertently dribble, drool, or otherwise let liquid escape your mouth while trying to keep it in?
gross! i did see some drool-worthy action but managed to keep it in. i think.
FRIDAY 5 FOR MARCH 18: UNREASONABLE!
What’s something you have an unreasonable fear of?
being yelled at.
What’s something you have an unreasonable fondness for?
What’s something you have an unreasonable disliking for?
swearing. it shouldn’t be unreasonable, but the way it’s used so easily now, i feel like the oddball.
Who’s most likely to bring out the unreasonable in you?
hmm. i don’t know?
Who’s the least unreasonable person you know?
my sister’s husband.
FRIDAY 5 FOR MARCH 11: A LITTLE DRIZZLE
What’s your favorite thing to put chocolate syrup on?
What’s the best thing to sprinkle cinnamon on?
um. i don’t know. i had this chocolatey drink one time with whipped cream on the top, and cinnamon on that. that was pretty nice.
What’s something that is made superb by a few drops of hot sauce?
What’s something you do with honey?
Besides a sandwich, what’s something you put peanut butter on?
FRIDAY 5 FOR MARCH 4: THERE’S A WRIDAY ON YOUR FRIDAY
Dr. Seuss’s first published book was And to Think That I Saw it on Mulberry Street!. What’s the most interesting thing you’ve witnessed on your street?
the decorations at this time of the year are pretty interesting.
In The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins, a boy removes his hat to pay respect to the passing king, but each hat is somehow replaced by a bigger, fancier hat. If you’re a hat person, what’s your current favorite? If not, under what circumstances did you last wear a hat?
i usually only wear a hat on hat day at school.
In If I Ran the Zoo…, a boy fantasizes about how fantastic the zoo would be under his administration. What’s your local zoo like, and how do you like it?
i think it’s okay. i haven’t been there in a while, though. i know they have all new enclosures for the elephants and rusty but i haven’t been there lately to see it. i did quite like the zoo on the big island. i know it’s small, but i liked the things i saw there. we went at almost closing, so the animals came up to the cage as we approached, thinking we were the food-bearers. 🙂 i got a lot of nice pictures.
i *love* playing zoo tycoon, though. i would love to run my own zoo. on the computer.
In Green Eggs and Ham, the main character refuses to taste a certain dish until, just to get Sam to leave him alone, he gives in and discovers that he likes it. When did something like this happen to you?
this happens to my son all the time. i’m not sure if it happened to me lately–i’m pretty open to trying new things. although i refuse to try pig blood. i don’t think i’d be surprised to find out it’s good. 😛
The Foot Book contains a lesson about judging others based on their feet. Feet seem to be something people have widely polar opinions about! How do you feel about feet, and can you think of someone in your life who has especially nice feet?
feet are funny to me. i think little babies have the most perfect little feet. so cute.
