FRIDAY 5 FOR DECEMBER 31: SAVING
When dining out, do you usually save room for dessert?
no, i’m usually too full for dessert.
How do you feel about saving places in line or saving seats in theaters?
for some reason, i don’t think i feel as strongly about people who save seats in theaters than those that save places in line. now i can understand if a person was standing there, then had to leave for a little while (bathroom or something) and then came back, they can have their spot back, but i don’t like it when one person stands and then all of a sudden 5 people who just arrived get to cut in where that one person was. especially when they pass out tickets to things, that just ruined your chance of getting a ticket, when you were waiting just as long as the person who let the other people that didn’t wait at all cut in. for the theaters, i guess since they already bought their ticket, it’s fine, so i guess i don’t really care about that.
What’s one thing you did to save money this past year?
just hold off on stuff.
Besides money, what’s something you’re saving for later?
In what way did you recently save the best for last?
i always eat the best thing last. i went to a brunch this past weekend, and i’ll eat all the things that are just eh first, and save the best thing for last.
FRIDAY 5 FOR DECEMBER 24: CONDIMENTS
What’s something that demands ketchup?
What’s the best thing to do with the leftover packets of cheese and red-pepper flakes you get with pizza delivery?
i don’t get pizza delivered, so … yeah. i guess i would use them in cooking or something.
What’s something (besides salad) that’s good with salad dressing?
in high school, my friend would always drizzle ranch dressing over her french fries. i never understood that then, but now i know it’s pretty yummy. still–you need the ketchup.
What’s a condiment you’re especially brand-loyal to?
none of them.
What’s the weirdest use of condiments you’ve seen by other people?
well, i guess that ranch dressing thing with the fries was weird to me, but now i think it’s okay. hmm. my dad eats ketchup with his rice and eggs. for some reason, that makes me gag. 😛
FRIDAY 5 FOR DECEMBER 17: EXCURSION
Of excursions you remember taking in elementary school, which was your favorite?
sea life park!
Of excursions you remember taking in elementary school, which was your least favorite?
field day things.
What seems like a really good school excursion destination that nobody seems to take?
Which of your recent activities might pass for an educational excursion?
anything you can go to can be a good educational experience–even the store.
When a sack lunch was needed for a field trip, what was most likely in your brown paper bag? How about now?
peanut butter & jelly sandwiches. but since you have to be careful with peanut butter now, i usually just bring along those little lunchables. i always need to bring extras anyway, for those that forget/can’t afford it.
