bud is back meme

yay! he’s back. i’m glad it went well.

from here.

Cheers to all of us thieves!

1. Why did you sign up for writing your blog?
i’ve always loved to write. when i came by chance to hawaiistories and read about how he was looking for writers who wanted to join the community, i just had to sign up, even if i wasn’t quite sure what it was all about. but it’s a way for me to express myself through writing, since that’s usually the only way i *do* express myself. and it was just a “new” thing that i wanted to try.

2. Why did you choose your blog’s name? What does it mean?
my first blog i had no idea what i was doing so the webmaster chose the name for me. he just combined my nickname with the word blog, and voila!

3. Do you ever had another blog?
what a strangely worded question. i have quite a few–let’s see, if i count the xanga and livejournal accounts i had even before hawaiistories, i have had 11! wow. i don’t know if i still even know the passwords to my xanga and livejournal, and my hawaiistories one is now gone, so i have 8 that i still check on, of which, 4 i really keep up with.

4. What do you do online when you’re not on your blog?
surf. play the games on facebook. read. research.

5. How about when you’re not on the computer?
how can i be online if i’m not on the computer? oh i guess through my phone, though i try not to because i went down to the cheaper tier of data usage. well if it’s not to do with online, let’s see. read. crossword puzzles. exercise, when i’m not too wiped out.

6. What do you wish people who read your blog knew about you?
that i’m needy. :P i don’t feel like writing if i don’t feel anyone is reading.

7. What is your favorite community in the blogosphere?
hawaiistories was pretty cool but it seems abandoned. i don’t know many other communities.

8. What is your philosophy on your blog layout?
my philosophy? i don’t know. simple (1 column), but with a personal touch (my own picture).

9. Tell me about your picture you use to represent you on your blog.
i don’t have a picture to represent me? it’s just weird shape design that wordpress assigned to me. my hawaiistories one was a quick doodle i did in appleworks. my tumblr–oh! is that a blog? then up my number to 12–is a picture of a monk seal, solitary creatures who still need protection from the horrors out there.

10. Pick 3 random blogs from your blogroll and tell us about them.
um. i don’t have a blogroll.

11. What features do you think your blog should have that it doesn’t currently?
hmm. i don’t really know. i think it’s fine.

12. What do you consider the 10 most “telling” interests that we would infer from what you blog persona?
i don’t quite understand the question. but i guess one could see that i like to talk about myself (answering all these questions about myself rather than writing about actual topics). a lot of my answers talk about music or my disdain for people, especially at work. oh, also that i don’t watch a lot of tv or movies. and that i’m weird.

13. Do you have any unique interests that you have never shared before? What are they?
i don’t think so.

14. The best thing about blogging is all of the friends that you make, Beside from those folks, do you think your blog has fans?
no. my stats line is pretty static.

15. What’s your current obsession? What about it captures your imagination?
i can get pretty obsessed with the games on facebook. i just like to do those sorts of stuff. i don’t know that i imagine anything–i just want to finish quests and stuff like that.

16. What are you glad you did but haven’t really had a chance to post about?
hmm. i guess my whole hula experience. at least i don’t think i have. i also haven’t posted a bit about my relationships, save one or two rants here or there, but i guess i’m not glad i went through it.

17. How many people that first became a blog friend, have you met face to face?
none. “met,” to me, means that you actually have a conversation with and such. not just a “hi” walking by type of thing, which i have done with a couple people. though i don’t know that they’d consider themselves “blog friends.”

18. What don’t you talk about here, either because it’s too personal or because you don’t have the energy?
i guess the stuff in #16! :)

19. What’s a question that you’d love to answer?
oh, i don’t know. i’m about game for any question (obviously, as i do a lot of memes that ask tons of different types of questions!). except the “too personal” ones mentioned above.

20. Have you ever lost a blogging friendship and regretted it?
i don’t think so.

21. Have you ever lost a blogging friendship and thought, “Was that overdue!”
i don’t think so.

  1. I would humbly suggest that you’d have more readers if you would leave comments on the memes’ websites. People do click those links: that’s how you discovered some of your favorite meme-reads, right? :)

    • i have. well, on the linky thingies. but that won’t bring more readers. i would have more readers if i could write better and be more interesting!
